You are on the website of Mensa HungarIQa, the National Mensa group of Hungary. The Hungarian branch of Mensa was founded in 1993. At the moment we have more than 5000 members, constantly on the rise. We are a very active group with a busy schedule of events, especially in Budapest. Hungarian Mensans keep in touch via mailing lists, in our ’members only’ Facebook group which hosts around half of all the members, and face-to-face meetings.
Visiting Hungary as a Mensa member?
Make sure to contact our SIGHT coordinator at sight@mensa.hu. She can tell you about Mensa events, and put you in contact with local members to meet up.
Are you a Mensa member moving to Hungary?
Join Mensa Hungary either as a guest or a full member, without taking any additional test. Please contact our membership administrator at titkar@mensa.hu.

Why don’t you come and take our IQ test? We occasionally hold test sessions in English language in Budapest. If you would like to know when is the next session, subscribe to our list and we will contact you when the next session is around the corner.
